A Bit About The Artist
Kia Ora and Welcome to Hippiehype
Hippiehype was born in Mumbai, India in 2021, during the COVID-19 lockdown. In the chaos of the world, I stumbled upon a new hobby that quickly turned into a passion. Clay art became the craft that hooked me the most. The idea of creating something from scratch with my own hands felt grounding and magical.

I’m a self-taught Ceramic artist, learning everything through hours of watching YouTube tutorials, scrolling Pinterest, and lots of hands-on experimentation. Over time, I began taking my work more seriously and started selling my pieces on a regular basis.

Today, Hippiehype has found a new home in Aotearoa (New Zealand). Since moving here, I’ve been inspired by the natural beauty, creative energy, and strong appreciation for handmade art. My journey continues as I share my “perfectly imperfect” creations with a new audience, still guided by the same joy, passion, and love for storytelling through clay.
